Sustainability

John XXIII College Sustainability Awards

We are launching a new sustainability awards program in the College next week.

This initiative is to promote sustainability and enrich the natural beauty of our campus.

We want our students to use their creative Juices to enhance our College environment. Students can make a collage/sculpture or grow a mini herb garden/floral arrangement, using only recycled materials in their project.

Great prizes up for grabs! More information next week…

Litter Update!

There is a noticeable improvement in the amount of little around our campus this term. Well done to everyone who is taking responsibility for their own litter.

A big thank you to our Year 8 students who are very proactive and taking the lead in combatting the litter issue. Each morning two students from each year 8 homeroom clean up their house area before the school day starts. We are hoping that other students will notice how clean their area is at the start of the day and will keep it that way for the remainder of the day.
